Independence Hub

Privacy policy

Effective September 16, 2026

What Independence Hub receives

When a WordPress administrator approves a connection, the Independence Hub Connector sends the site URL, the administrator username, a dedicated WordPress Application Password, and the aggregate Independent Analytics data requested by the dashboard.

How it is used

The dedicated credential is encrypted at rest and used only to read the connector's approved analytics endpoints for the connected site. Independence Hub does not receive or store the administrator's main WordPress password.

Your choices

You can remove a site from Independence Hub and revoke its dedicated Application Password from the WordPress administrator profile at any time. Removing a site prevents future analytics requests for that connection.

Contact

For privacy questions, contact the Independence Hub administrator through the site where you received access.
